AGP AirLift special fitting instructions (ver. 1.0)

Special Fitting Instructions
___________________________________________

Some video cards like the GeForce MX based video cards have a narrow PCB and a slight adjustment to the AirLift's feet should be made for greater stability.

Simply remove the two rubber feet on the leading edge of the AirLift and reattach them approximately 1 inch (25mm) back. The feet can be attached at an angle following the inside curve of the AirLift's body for the most contact area.

Place the AirLift as far back towards the motherboard as possible. The rubberized feet will do a nice job of keeping the unit place.

For systems that use SLOT CPU's headroom over the video card is limited. You may want to lower the height requirement of the AirLift. This technique uses the AirLift's body as a "shroud" around the fan.

Just follow these simple steps:

1. Remove the fan from the AirLift's body
2. Hold the fan upside down (air direction arrow on fan pointing down) and drop screws into lower set of screw holes.
3. Slide AirLift's body over fan, line up protruding screws and slide them through. Be sure to run the power wires through the larger opening (base) in the body.
4. keeping the unit upside down attach nuts to the screws. Use a small screw driver to hold the screws in place.

It should look like this when you're finished:

CAUTION! Be very aware of what you set the AirLift over using this configuration. You don't want any components on the video card to get smacked around by the fan blades !!
