Gainward Europe ships Cool-Matics stock on FX Cards!

The Cool-Matic 5900FX was developed specially for GeForce 5900FX series graphic cards and cools not only the GPU also the RAM!  This enables highest cooling and maximum performance - with minimal sound.  The cooler blocks no PCI slots and is compatible with Innovatek's 8mm water cooling system.  The Cool-Matics come with 5 nylon nuts/bolts for attaching securely to the card through the existing attachment points.  The two 8mm elbow compression fittings swivel at the joint for added flexibility when routing tubing.  The contact surface is one piece anodized aluminum with smooth raised beds for precise seating on the GPU and RAM modules.  Single use thermal paste packet also included.

Assembly: The assembly of the cooler is easy with the included screws. For preparation remove the original GPU and memory cooler and remove any remainders of thermal compound.  Coat the GPU and all RAM modules thinly with enclosed thermal compound or Arctic Silver thermal paste. The Cooler is then put on and bolted to the card, for optimal assembly tighten the screws straight so they do not bend.

Now cool the back-side of your FX card's memory with the Cool-Matic FX RAM water block!

    

Cool Matic FX rev1.0 - only RAM (GPU side)                                    
Cool Matic FX was developed particularly for GeForce FX graphics cards and cools in this version only the memory of the graphics cards. A GPU cooler is necessary as sold separately - So for example an existing GPU cooler like the Graph-O-Matic Rev2.0 can be still used. This water block doesn't interfere with any PCI Slots and has rear 8x1 screwed angle fittings.  Nylon attachment bolts included.

Cool Matic FX rev1.0 - RAM Upgrade (Back side)                          
This Cool Matic is the back extension for the Cool Matic FX rev1.0 water block.   Now the RAM memory on the back of its GeForce FX graphics cards can be cooled efficiently too.   With this Upgrade each Cool Matic FX rev1.0 (GPU+RAM/RAM) can be extended by cooling the back side of the cards memory.  This water block has one 8x1 screwed angle fitting and one pass-through connector (seen in center of pic below) to create flow between the two sides.  Nylon attachment bolts included.

 

Note:  Cool-Matic FX cooler is made to the manufacturer specs of nVidia 5900FX / 5950FX reference card 128 and 256 MB and no others.  "Aftermarket cards" must be checked with the card manufacturer if they built it according to those specs, otherwise the cooler might not fit.  Consider the Graph-O-Matic Rev2.0 and RAMsinks for these applications.  Gainward may have a different design for their part and is mentioned on our site simply as reference.

Note: Only use distilled water in connection with InnovaProtect (sold separately) as cooling agent!!  Absolutely avoid the contact of the cooler with methanol, ethanol or alcohol - This could damage the cooler irreparably!!
